In this presentation, Muhammad Aslam talks about his experience of implementing digital pathology in North Wales. A whole Wales digital pathology validation program was carried out with 22 pathologists. This was followed by routine reporting of clinical cases digitally; the introduction of macropath for macro photographs embedding in the image viewing software; integration by a middleware application to different IT applications including LIMS, e-slide manager and image scope. This way complete integration took place along with touch-free voice command/ voice recognition. Next, we are doing studies on the role of AI in breast receptors assessment.
