In this presentation, Jan Majta presents the BiomeScout algorithm: a novel approach to metagenomic research. He also shows two complementary algorithms, BiomeSeer and BiomeBrewer, a strain phenotype predictor and probiotic cocktail optmiser. Combined, these technologies form an NGP discovery platform “BiomeForte” that will provide users with an end to end design of beneficial bacterial composition, defined by its functional importance.
